The Recruitment Conversation
This is where most affiliates fail. They use the wrong words, the wrong tone, and the wrong approach.
The Golden Rules of Recruitment
| Rule | Explanation |
|---|---|
| Lead with curiosity, not desperation | “I’m making money” beats “Please join my program” |
| Focus on their gain, not your need | They care about THEIR income, not YOUR team size |
| Use questions, not statements | “Are you open to hearing about it?” beats “You should join this” |
| Let them opt in | Forced recruits don’t perform. They must WANT to join. |
| Never beg | If they say no, move on. There are millions of potential recruits. |
What NOT to Say
| Wrong Approach | Why It Fails |
|---|---|
| “Join my affiliate program” | Sounds like a scheme. No value mentioned. |
| “I need people in my downline” | Selfish. They don’t care about your downline. |
| “You can make millions overnight” | Unbelievable. Creates skepticism. |
| “It’s free to join” | Cheapens the opportunity. Quality people want value, not freebies. |
| “My upline says I need to recruit 5 people” | Desperate. They feel like a number, not a partner. |
The 3-Step Invite System
This is the proven framework. Memorize it. Use it every time.
Step 1: Curiosity
Goal: Make them ask “What is it?”
Script:
“I’ve started something new that’s already making me money. I thought of you because you’re good with people.”
Variations:
For The Hustler:
“You’re already great at selling. I found something where your skills would make you way more money per sale. Are you open to hearing about it?”
For The Networker:
“You know everyone. I started monetizing my network in a new way and it’s working. I think you’d crush it. Interested?”
For The Learner:
“Remember how you wanted to start an online business? I found something that actually works — real products, real training, real payments. Want me to tell you?”
For The Professional:
“I’ve been earning extra income without quitting my job. It’s professional, it’s flexible, and it’s growing fast. Are you open to a side conversation?”
Key: Don’t explain yet. Create curiosity. Let them ask for more.
Step 2: Value
Goal: Show them what’s in it for them.
Script:
“It’s a digital marketing company called MegaBizBooster. They teach you everything, give you products and services to sell, and pay 25% commission on every sale. Weekly payments. No registration fee. You can start today.”
The Value Stack:
Â
| Benefit | What It Means for Them |
|---|---|
| 25% commission | High earnings per sale |
| Weekly payments | Fast reward for effort |
| No registration fee | Zero risk to start |
| Complete training | No experience needed |
| Real products/services | Legitimate, sellable offerings |
| Career path | Can grow to a staff position with a salary |
Key: Keep it simple. Don’t overwhelm with details. Hit the highlights.
Â
Step 3: Action
Goal: Get them to take the next small step.
Script:
“Can I send you a short video/this course link so you can see for yourself? Then we can talk if you’re interested.”
Why this works:
-
Low commitment. They’re not saying yes to joining. Just yes to information.
-
Self-directed. They review on their own time. No pressure.
-
Qualifies interest. If they don’t watch, they weren’t serious. Save your energy.
Alternative closes:
For the eager:
“I can walk you through the first module right now. It takes 15 minutes. Ready?”
For the cautious:
“No pressure. Read the course this week. I’ll check in Friday to answer any questions. Fair?”
For the busy:
“I know you’re busy. How about I send you the link, and we schedule a 10-minute call Saturday?”

Handling Recruitment Objections
“Is this a pyramid scheme?”
“I understand the concern. Here’s the difference: pyramid schemes make money from signup fees with no real product. MegaBizBooster sells digital services that businesses actually pay for. I earn when my team makes sales to customers — not from their registration. That’s a legal affiliate program, not a pyramid.”
“I don’t have time.”
“Most of our top earners started with 30 minutes a day. The question isn’t time — it’s priority. Where do you want to be in 6 months? Same place, or ahead?”
“I don’t know anything about digital marketing.”
“Neither did I when I started. That’s why MegaBizBooster has this complete course. You learn as you earn. You don’t need to be an expert. You just need to follow the system.”
“I tried something like this before and failed.”
“I’m sorry that happened. What was the program? [Listen]. Here’s the difference: MegaBizBooster has real products, real training, and a real career path. And most importantly, I’ll be your mentor. I won’t let you fail alone.”
“I need to ask my spouse/parents.”
“Of course. Family decisions are important. Share the course link with them. I’d be happy to answer their questions too. When can we all talk?”
