Objection Handling for Services and Products

“It’s Too Expensive”

Response:
“I understand. Let me ask — how much is one new customer worth to you? [Let them answer]. If this service brings you just 2 new customers, it pays for itself. And it keeps working for months. It’s not an expense. It’s an investment with a return.”
Alternative:
“Let’s start smaller. Instead of the full package, let’s begin with [lower-priced option]. You’ll see the value, and we can upgrade later.”

“I Can Do It Myself”

Response:
“You absolutely can. But let me ask — how many hours would it take you to learn, do it, and fix mistakes? And what’s your hourly rate? If this takes you 20 hours and your time is worth ₦5,000/hour, doing it yourself costs ₦100,000. We do it for ₦50,000. You’re actually saving money.”

“I Need to Think About It”

Response:
“Of course. What specifically are you thinking about? The price, the timing, or whether it will work for your business?”
Get the real objection. Then address it.
If it’s timing:
“I understand. But every day you wait, your competitor is [ranking on Google/posting on social media/getting customers]. Can we start with a small step this week?”

“I Don’t Have Time”

Response:
“That’s exactly why you need this. You don’t have time to manage your online presence. That’s why we do it for you. You focus on running your business. We focus on bringing you customers.”
