Phase 3 — Presentation (Showing Value)

What Presentation Means

Presentation is where you show the customer what you offer and why it solves their problem. This is not about listing features. It is about demonstrating value in a format that fits WhatsApp’s chat environment.

The Content Types Available on WhatsApp

WhatsApp supports multiple content formats. Each serves different purposes.
Text Messages
Best for: Clear explanations, value propositions, answering questions.
Example:
“Based on what you shared, our Premium Plan fits you perfectly. It includes unlimited support, 24-hour delivery, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Most customers in your situation see results within the first week.”
Keep text messages short and scannable. Long paragraphs overwhelm mobile readers. Use line breaks, bullet points, and emojis sparingly for structure.
Images
Best for: Product photos, infographics, before/after results, price lists, certificates.
Guidelines:
  • Use high-quality images that load quickly
  • Include text overlays for key information
  • Show products in real use, not just studio shots
  • Use consistent branding (colors, fonts, style)
Videos
Best for: Product demonstrations, customer testimonials, behind-the-scenes tours, and personal explanations.
Guidelines:
  • Keep videos under 2 minutes for attention span
  • Start with the most important information
  • Add captions (many people watch without sound)
  • Use good lighting and clear audio
Documents
Best for: Detailed brochures, proposals, contracts, catalogs, guides.
Guidelines:
  • Use PDF format for universal compatibility
  • Keep file sizes small for fast download
  • Include your branding and contact information
  • Make documents scannable with clear headings
Voice Messages
Best for: Complex explanations, personal touches, when typing is too slow.
Guidelines:
  • Keep under 2 minutes
  • Speak clearly and at a moderate pace
  • Start with a summary of what you will cover
  • Use for relationship building, not just information
Catalogs
Best for: Browseable product listings that let customers explore without leaving WhatsApp.
Guidelines:
  • Organize products into clear categories
  • Use professional photos for every item
  • Include prices, descriptions, and variants
  • Update regularly to remove out-of-stock items

Matching Format to Customer Style

Different customers prefer different communication styles. Pay attention to how they write and respond.

Customer Style Best Format Approach
Brief and direct Short text, clear bullets Get to the point fast
Detailed and analytical Documents, long text, data Provide comprehensive information
Visual and casual Images, videos, emojis Keep it light and engaging
Voice-oriented Voice messages, video calls Use audio for a personal touch
Formal and professional Documents, structured text Match their tone precisely

If a customer sends long, detailed messages, respond with thorough information. If they send short, quick messages, keep your replies brief.

The Presentation Structure

Follow this structure for an effective presentation:

1. Confirm Understanding
“Thanks for sharing, John. So you need [summarize their need] by [timeline], and [priority] matters most. Did I get that right?”
This shows you listened. It also confirms accuracy before you present.

2. Connect Need to Solution
“For exactly that situation, our works because [specific benefit tied to their need].”
Do not list all features. Highlight only what solves their stated problem.

3. Provide Proof
“Here is how it worked for someone similar…” [testimonial, case study, image, video]
Proof reduces doubt. Use the format your customer prefers.

4. Make It Easy to Say Yes
“I can set this up for you today. Would you like me to send the details?”
End with a clear, low-pressure next step.
