Complete these exercises to design your traffic acquisition strategy before moving to Module 5.

Exercise 1: Current Traffic Audit

If you have existing traffic, analyze your current sources. What percentage comes from organic search, direct/email, paid, and social/referral? Identify which channel is most over-dependent. Calculate your current CAC and estimated LTV if possible.

Exercise 2: SEO Opportunity Assessment

Use a keyword research tool to identify ten keywords relevant to your business. For each, note:
  • Monthly search volume
  • Current competition level
  • Your ability to create superior content
  • Priority for targeting
Select your top three keywords and outline the content you would create to rank for each.

Exercise 3: Paid Advertising Plan

Choose one paid advertising platform appropriate for your audience. Design a basic campaign structure:
  • Campaign objective
  • Target audience description
  • Budget and duration
  • Three ad variations to test
  • Success metrics and targets
Calculate the maximum CAC your business can afford based on your pricing and margins.

Exercise 4: Social Media Strategy

Select one organic social platform to focus on. Research its current algorithm priorities. Create a two-week content plan with:
  • Post types and topics
  • Posting schedule
  • Engagement tactics
  • Metrics to track

Exercise 5: Partnership Opportunity Map

List five potential referral, affiliate, or strategic partners. For each, describe:
  • Their audience and how it overlaps with yours
  • What you could offer them
  • What they could offer you
  • The first step to initiate contact
